The Regent submersible pump (or sub pump, electric submersible pump) is a pump which has a hermetically sealed motor close-coupled to the pump body. The whole assembly is submerged in the fluid to be pumped.
Submersible vortex pumps capable of handling suspended solids, suitable for dirty water applications, the stainless steel and polymer construction make them ideal for marine / high salinity drainage applications.
The main advantage of this type of pump is that it prevents pump cavitation, a problem associated with a high elevation difference between pump and the fluid surface. Motor thermistors to prevent overheating. Accurate automatic control via high and low level ball float switches (Adjustable to suit application) SXA-150 has only a single adjustable on / off ball float.
Available in 3 models, Cast Iron Construction, stainless steel shafts (smaller models SXA-150 have an aluminium motor case and Noryl Impellers) three way oil bath seal system, ball bearing motors, available in Single and three phase models

Flow rates up to 300 Litres per minute with pressure up to 10m
